Finally. Flash 10 works perfectly on my 64 bit Ubuntu. This is by far the simplest way to install Flash 10 on 64 bit. Thank you.

Dude! AWESOME!!! I had so much trouble trying to get this version to work. The prior 10 Beta was relatively easy, but stuff was not working here. Thanks for the “two click” install!
And the performance of this RC is much better! 😀 YAY!

Very nice job, was having a heck of a time trying to do this manually and was looking everywhere for solutions…. your script just did everything without any fuss. Thanks and I totally appreciate the time you must have put in finding fixes for all the install issues and making this “just work”.

I rarely get excited about installing something, but this was exactly what I needed! This worked on Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit.

Hmm the getlibs was not found, then it uninstalled gnome, and still flash doesn’t work:

Yup. Firefox was segfaulting after the install script was run. A restart seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

Actually I had the same problem… Its waiting for a response and then its giving the 404 error message.
It says:

resolving http://www.boundlessupremacy.com... 174.132.151.2

Http request sent, waiting response… 404 not found
404 Not Found

Please guys help me solve this problem. I am using ubuntu 9.04 (32 bit)

This is an old post. Besides this is only for 64 bit installs.

To install flash on a 32 bit Ubuntu just paste the following in the terminal:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
