queleimporta.com is a personal blog written and maintained by Alejandro Cuervo mainly to discuss and share some of my passions and topics such as:

• Linux and open source in general. (I am a full-time linux user since ~2003)

• Insects. (I am facinated by insects!)

Why the name?

Looking for domain names for a web project that I worked in 2002,  I said to my then partners that it would be difficult to find quality domains since almost everything was already taken. I  bet that even trivialities as “queleimporta.com“ would be registered. One of them mentioned that if it was available I would need to register it and maintain it for life, and well, the answer is obvious, I lost. After having it for several years I decided it was time to give it some productive use.

One of the philosophies behind the blog is to try to keep it as simple as possible. I am a big believer in that most of time, less is more!

queleimporta.com runs on WordPress, on Linux. more specifically, in a VPS running Ubuntu.

I try to write most of the entries in Spanish and English.
